Hey, my name is Jordan, and I recently made the choice to commit myself to learning how to develop my own game, so I've started a small indie studio called Piglon. It was the first thing I ever tried to do, 14 years old, inspired by games such as Final Fantasy IX (my first love). Back then I purchased an ActionSctipt 3.0 Bible and set out to make the next number one hit on Newgrounds. Sadly I never had the skills to manage myself, which led to being overwhelmed - so I gave up. It's been nearly 20 years since then, in which time I have failed to find my calling in life. Don't worry, I've had a great time! And I've even picked up some very useful skills that will help me on this new adventure.

It's always been my dream to tell stories, but I've not been able to find the right way of doing that. I've written fiction, but all my pages are unrelated. I've written endless amounts of music... but they rarely go beyond 12 bars. I've drawn a lot, but you guessed it - it's all in bits.

I am hoping that game dev will bring a sense of direction to my music, my artwork, and my desire to world build. Most importantly, it will be a challenge in commitment. Beyond that, I've just got learn how to code... it shouldn't be too hard... (right?!)

This space will serve as a diary of my efforts, and I'd love it if you joined me on my journey!

Check out my >> blog << which I'll be adding regular entries to.
